As human beings, we are never happy for whatever we have done in our life and achieved so far. Since time immemorial, the mankind has striven to excel from the current situation to the Next Level and that has been the result of the long journey from Stone Age to Space Age. Parents expect their children to excel in academics, sports and other activities at school and college. Teachers also have great expectations from their students. The employers expect their employees to excel at workplace and the expectations from the Managers are even higher. Every enthusiastic, energetic and empowered individual is in pursuit of Excellence. And Achieving Excellence is a journey and not a Destination.
An individual can demonstrate excellence at workplace in his professional life only when he/she has achieved Excellence in his/her personal life and he/she displays excellence in public life too and has due recognition. Their productivity will increase and hence they shall reap the benefits at personal level, family level as well as organizational level. We should focus on achieving Excellence at Personal, Professional and even at Public level. That is the Mantra for achieving Business Excellence and rest all falls in place, be it the bottom line or top line in the corporate.
Another thing we must remember is that three things are required for the success of any operation or a project. They are: People, Processes and Technology. Now here we see that Technology is developed by People and used by People. Similarly all Processes are developed by People only and are used also by People. So of the three things People become the most important for any organization.
So the organizations must give due importance to people and ensure that they are always on the journey to achieve 'The Next Level of Excellence'
